About US

xone is a handcrafted, love-driven zine designed and curated by queer and trans people of color.

we believe in the restorative powers of community art-making and storytelling.

we prioritize the artistic voices and organizational talents of marginalized groups, including and especially from Black, Indigenous, trans, non-binary, disabled, and low-income individuals.

our team consists of qtpoc students at the university of texas at dallas. xone’s affiliation with utd does not limit our independent practices.

we launched in august 2019 and released our first issue, welcome to the free xone, in december 2019. for issue 02, we explored the many definitions of the word crush, and released the issue in novemeber 2020. you can purchase a copy of any issue through our online store :)
